BIOGRAPHY
Zoe Lavatelli was born in 1985 and was immersed in art from a young age as she grew up in a family of artists in Buffalo, NY. She currently resides in Lawrence, New Jersey, and uses oil paint, watercolor, and mixed media on canvas and paper for creative expression. Lavatelli obtained a BFA from The Cooper Union, and has studied and practiced various disciplines outside the art field, which inform her artwork. She has had two solo shows, one at the Trenton Free Public Library in 2022 as a part of 'First Fridays,' and in 2024 at the Arts Council of Princeton. She has exhibited work in many juried group shows in the region as well, including at the Center for Emerging Visual Artists in Philadelphia, The Jane Gallery in Philadelphia, ARTWORKS Trenton, and the Mercer County Artist's Exhibition as well as others.
